About Us

UChicago’s Law Students for Justice in Palestine (LSJP), is UChicago Law's home for education, discussion, and activism in support for Palestinian liberation, and to promote the rights of the Palestinian people. We seek to amplify the voices of Palestinian activists resisting occupation, dispossession, and colonization; to combat anti-Palestinian narratives and the silencing of pro-Palestine viewpoints in American politics and academia; to strengthen the intersectional bonds between the Palestinian struggle and other racial & social justice movements; and to highlight Palestinian arts and culture, particularly in forums that are accessible to students in UChicago. LSJP promotes a shared vision and solidarity against settler colonialism, the oppression of all marginalized peoples, and indigenous peoples across the world.
