About Us
The Environmental Law Society (ELS) is a group of students interested in environmental law and policy, energy law, natural resource law, environmental justice, and any related fields. We host a number of speakers to discuss these topics throughout the year. Professors, scientists, litigators (in large firms, small firms, and nonprofits), organizers, and other environmental advocates have all been ELS speakers. We also organize a variety of activities to engage students in environmental-related pursuits, such as visiting the farmer's market, decreasing carbon footprints, and enjoying the environment we work to conserve.
